April 18th 2018 – 1 hour Wednesday networking in King’s Lynn.
What a superb turnout today for this month’s networking event; nearly thirty of us enjoyed an engaging and interesting talk by the inestimable Mark Miller from Beneve Ltd – a management consultant and strategist who cuts through buzzwords, jargon and flimsy management practices with his double-edged machete of common sense and who can help your business when it comes to management, training, projects, skills and talent.
A real eye-opener, the 70-20-10 framework of experience, observation and training really hit home and, as Paul Ward, our Master of Ceremonies noted, demonstrating competence & maintaining accreditations is something that affects any business whether it’s one person or thousands.
For some of our attendees today, networking doesn’t come naturally – it was good to see that our informal approach to networking attracts those that are new to networking and for any other newbies, be assured that we have the warmest of welcomes and no pitches, referrals or introductions and that if you seek out Matt Cooper – who was, until recently, a networking newbie himself – he will ensure that you’ll not only end up with a new skill, but you’ll be actually enjoying networking with us.
Next month’s event is on May 16th – your MC will be Harry Harris from Swarm Hive and everyone is extremely welcome – there will be pastries, coffee, tea, a guest speaker with a great subject and the promise of West Norfolk’s friendliest and most rewarding networking event. Join us!!
