Taking place on the third Wednesday every month, our morning networking hour is growing in popularity; our businesses tell us they like being able to network with others and still have time for a day’s work, they enjoy the pressure-free, relaxed surroundings and free coffee, tea and pastries, not to mention a guest speaker with an enjoyable fifteen-minute talk rather than a hard sell.
No pitches, introductions or fees, no referrals or pressure to attend; just like-minded, friendly businesspeople connecting and engaging with the business community in King’s Lynn and West Norfolk.
Set your alarm, bring your business cards, and join us bright and early for King’s Lynn’s friendliest, most rewarding and enjoyable networking – see you there!
What’s the format?
Arrive at Yours Business Networks around 07:30 and network for 20-25 minutes, after a fifteen-minute talk, back into the business lounge for another 20-25 minutes or so of networking. Many people choose to stay much longer and are more than welcome to continue chatting and developing new contacts.
What are the rules?
None – We don’t force people to introduce themselves or deliver an elevator pitch and no-one has to provide referrals or ensure that they attend each week. No booking 1-2-1s either.
Who’s it for?
Business owners, managers, entrepreneurs, start-ups, young businesses and anyone who wants to connect and engage with other businesses in King’s Lynn and West Norfolk. Newbies are always welcome, whether it’s to our group or to networking in general. Here are some great networking tips if that’s you…
Who’s behind it?
The networking events are sponsored by Yours Business Networks – a multi-use business centre in the heart of King’s Lynn’s business district offering office space and meeting rooms who provide the venue and facilities to engage with local businesses and the wider community.
Hosting the events are the inestimable Harry Harris, business guru, mentor and apprenticeship specialist at Swarm Hive and Paul Ward, leadership and personal development coach and Master Practitioner of NLP and a Licensed Motivational Map practitioner at Solace Coaching.
